Bridget, Ch Coquetel Champagne Supernova, at a show in the Netherlands, Bleidswijk. Owner Jim Norman is working at The Hague and has regrown coat and having her shown. She got Reserve CAC and she is entered at the end of the month in the big show in Amsterdam. She is being handled by Roxanne Kort.

New Canadian Champion Coquetel Stage Struck “Gwen” finishes at 10 months of age in very limited showing by Allison Foley. She demonstrates the same lovely movement as her mother Katie, with reach and drive, and lightness. We are very proud of this young girl. Watch for her in a US ring sometime soon!

Miyah finished her American CD at the Harrisburg Show, thus completing her requirements to qualify for her American Pointer Club Versatility Award. To put in perspective, only 2 pointers received this award in 2010 - quite an accomplishment indeed. Proud does not even begin to describe how we feel about Miyah, who is truly one in a million.

Miyah also completed her American Rally Novice title this weekend, and passed her first Rally Advanced trial, placing 2nd in the class having never even run a Rally Advanced course!

Miyah’s official title now reads as follows:
Am/Can Ch. Coquetel Lamont M’Nighean Donn Can CDX, Am CD, Am/Can RN, JH, FDJ, CGN, Certified St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog.

WOW!

Miyah and Genevieve hope to debut in the American Open Obedience rings this Fall, and we continue to work on our Utility requirements here in Canada, in the hopes that will start trialling in Utility sometime in 2012.

Coquetel Pointers had a fantastic run at the Pointer Club of Canada National Specialty.

“Bridget,” Coquetel You Had Me From Hello owned by Caroline Thibodeau won the Specialty, her brother “Tank,” Coquetel How Do Ya Like Me Now went Winners Dog, and their mother “Miyah,” Am/Can Ch Coquetel Lamont M’Nighean Donn Can CDX, Am CD, Am/Can RN, CGN, JH, FDJ won the Brood Bitch class. Pictured above is the family photo, from left to right, Miyah, Tank and Bridget.
